600 Bridge Kits Deployed to Ukraine: EasiBridge Goes to War
2022 brought EasiBridge’s most operationally significant deployment to date. An order for 600 bridge kits was fulfilled and delivered to Ukraine amid active conflict — the largest single order in EasiBridge’s history and its first deployment into a live theatre of war.
The Ukraine order validated everything EasiBridge had set out to prove since Dr. Bright first tested a prototype in a Devon farm workshop in 2015. A system designed for rapid deployment by small teams, requiring no mechanical plant, no specialist training, and no access to the far bank — deployed at scale in one of the most demanding operational environments on earth.
For military procurement authorities, humanitarian logistics planners, and defence contractors searching for combat-proven portable bridging systems, rapidly deployable assault bridges, man-portable gap-crossing equipment for active conflict zones, or field-proven lightweight military bridges, the Ukraine deployment is the definitive operational reference. EasiBridge does not just perform in trials and experiments — it performs in war.
The 600-kit order also confirmed BANAIR’s manufacturing and logistics capability. From concept to combat-ready delivery at scale, within seven years of invention — EasiBridge® had crossed the most important gap of all.
