For the first time in EasiBridge’s history, the full product range — tested by the British Royal Engineers, evaluated by 3 Para, trialled in Kenya, Belize, and now France — was available for immediate purchase without a bespoke procurement process.
The Bridge-in-a-Bag concept is exactly what it sounds like. A complete Infantry Assault Bridge, built from 1.5m × 7kg ladder sections, packs into standard duffel bags. A 6-metre bridge fits in one bag. A 15-metre bridge fits in three bags weighing 20kg each. The entire system weighs 5kg per metre of span, is 85% lighter and 90% more compact than the incumbent Infantry Assault Bridge, and can be deployed by a small team with no tools, no mechanical plant, and no access to the far bank — in under five minutes.
