EasiBridge Launches the 1st Response Bridge & UrbanHD — Two Game-Changing New Products

April 24, 2024

April 2024 saw EasiBridge’s most significant product launch since the original LADX range — two entirely new systems announced simultaneously: the EasiBridge 1st Response Bridge and the UrbanHD ladder system.

The 1st Response Bridge is a dedicated emergency services and humanitarian deployment variant providing a full 100-foot (30-metre) span for personnel or light vehicle crossing. All components flat-pack inside 5 trays that double as both launch supports and crossing trolleys. Push-launched without lifting equipment by a 3-man team — no mechanical plant, no specialist training, no access to the far bank. Once launched and crossed, the superstructure inverts for trolley-based casualty evacuation. With launch trials supported by the Defence and Security Accelerator (@defenceandsecurityaccelerator), the 1st Response Bridge brings DASA-backed engineering rigour to emergency services for the first time.

The UrbanHD is the next-generation urban access ladder system — an all-new addition to the EasiBridge LADX range, offering unrivalled portability, climb heights, and bridging spans up to 8.5m (28ft). No other ladder system on the market goes this far. UrbanHD combines the core EasiLock connection system with enhanced structural performance for demanding urban warfare, confined-space, and first response environments.

For fire and rescue services, emergency response planners, military procurement teams, and humanitarian logistics organisations searching for portable emergency bridge systems, rapid deployment footbridges, urban access ladder systems, or man-portable rescue bridging equipment, the April 2024 dual launch represented EasiBridge’s most comprehensive product expansion to date.
