CROSS.
ADVANCE.
dominate.
Man-portable tactical bridging for assault crossing, troop mobility, force protection, and logistics under fire. Proven with the Royal Engineers and backed by the UK Defence & Security Accelerator.
Use cases
Where it's
deployed.
Six operational scenarios where EasiBridge systems can be deployed by military across the UK and internationally.
01
Assault River Crossing
18m span tactical assault bridges installed and crossed by a single operative in 20 seconds. No far-bank access required. Bridges launched using the patented cantilever inversion technique.
Tactical Assault Bridge
02
Urban & Covert Ops
Rooftop-to-rooftop crossing, window entry, tunnel access. Bridges carried through confined spaces and deployed covertly in near silence. Packs to 10% of current IAB size.
Tactical Assault Bridge
03
Infantry Assault Bridging
Decked platforms with handrails for safe foot-traffic crossing. Enhanced stability for sustained movement of personnel and light equipment across the span.
Infantry Assault Bridge
04
Force Protection
Man-portable SVBIED barriers and blast-resistant roofing systems. EasiRoof Lite structures for overhead protection using standard ladder components.
Super-Kit
05
CASEVAC & Resupply
Trolley system transfers casualties and stores across the span without walking loads on the bridge deck. Rope-tensioning enables winch or ascender movement of stretchers and ammunition.
Trolley bridge
06
Special Forces & Marine Ops
Marine boarding ladders with detachable end hooks for RIB-assault operations. Manhole and tunnel access systems. Ultra-compact for helicopter and quad-bike insertion.

The challenge
Urban warfare
demands new thinking.
70% of the global population will live in cities by 2045. Military operations are shifting from open terrain to dense urban environments — rooftop to rooftop, through windows, into tunnels. Incumbent Infantry Assault Bridges are vehicle-borne, heavy, and designed for a different era. They can’t be carried up staircases, through mouse-holes, or deployed covertly in under a minute. The gap between what dismounted infantry need and what’s currently available is widening.
The solution
The EasiBridge
LADX system.
The world’s first truly man-portable, long-span assault bridge. Formed from 1.5m × 7kg aluminium ladder sections joined with the bespoke EasiLock system — no loss of strength or stiffness at any joint. Advanced-fibre ropes, telescopic masts, and variable tensioning elements deliver treble the span of incumbent ladder systems at half the weight. An 18m bridge weighs just 92kg, can be carried by two personnel, and is installed and crossed by a single operative in under 20 seconds — entirely from the home bank, in near silence. The patented cantilever launch/inversion technique requires no far-bank access and is compatible with confined space deployment through staircases, mouse-holes, and building interiors.
Recommended products
Systems for military sector
The EasiBridge product range covers every tactical bridging requirement — from single-operative assault crossings to decked infantry platforms and compact ladder systems for special forces insertion. Every product shares common aluminium components, keeping logistics simple and training time to a minimum.
EB100 Vehicle Bridge
Heavy-duty modular bridging rated up to MLC50 for light and medium vehicle crossing. Built from the same EB100 aluminium alloy 6082-T6 components — assembled on-site without cranage or specialist plant. Spans from 5m to 30m on standard or pier-supported configurations.
EB100 FOOTBRIDGE
Pedestrian bridging for sustained troop movement across wider gaps. Handrails and optional decking provide safe, stable crossing for personnel carrying full equipment loads. Spans up to 30m using the EB100 modular chord-and-node system.
LADX DELTA
Compact aluminium ladder system built for dismounted operations in remote and hostile terrain. Optimised for quad-bike carriage, helicopter undersling, and long-range backpack transport. Spans up to 6m from plain ladder sections — extended with the link tensioning system for longer crossings.
